I offer a selection of beautiful outdoor locations around Ipswich and Brisbane. If you already have a special location in mind, I’m more than happy to chat with you about it and see if we can make it work for your session.

My sessions are held during golden hour — the beautiful period of light just before sunset. This is when the sun is lower in the sky, creating soft, warm and flattering light that gives your photographs that beautiful golden glow.

Because golden hour changes throughout the year, your exact session time will depend on the date of your booking. I’ll provide you with your session time when your booking is confirmed.

A little cloud is no problem! Overcast weather can create beautiful, soft and even light and can look absolutely stunning in photographs.

If the weather is looking particularly wet or we are expecting heavy rain, we’ll reschedule your session to another suitable date. Your family's experience and the quality of your photographs are always the priority.

Mini Sessions are approximately 30 minutes, while Full Family Sessions are approximately 1 hour.

I recommend choosing outfits that feel comfortable and natural to you, while coordinating rather than matching exactly.

Soft, neutral and earthy tones tend to photograph beautifully and work particularly well with the natural outdoor settings and golden-hour light. Try to avoid large logos, bold patterns or very bright colours that can distract from the people in the photographs.

Most importantly, choose clothing that allows you and your children to move, play and interact comfortably — because those natural moments are often where the magic happens.

Your session includes your immediate family and your furry friend if you'd like them to join in.

If you'd like to include grandparents or extended family, please let me know when enquiring. We can discuss your plans and potentially include additional family members for an additional fee.

Absolutely! I’m more than happy to include your furry family members in your session. Pets are part of the family too!

Don't worry — they don't have to!

Children don't always sit still, smile on cue or follow directions, and that's completely okay. I don't expect them to. I’ll use gentle prompts, games and natural interactions to help everyone relax and have fun.

Some of my favourite photographs are the unexpected moments — the cuddles, the laughter, the running around and all those little moments that show your family's personality.

A little bit of both!

You won't be expected to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I'll gently guide you throughout the session with simple prompts and ideas, while also allowing plenty of time for natural interactions to happen.

My goal is to capture genuine connection rather than stiff, overly posed photographs.

Full Family Session: 30 professionally edited digital images

Your photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can view and download your images.

As a busy mum who also works another job, I balance photography around my family and work commitments. I always try to keep my turnaround time as quick as possible and aim to have your photographs back to you within 10 days of your session.

Yes! Every photograph you receive is individually edited to create a beautiful, consistent gallery. This includes adjustments to colour, exposure, warmth and overall tones to complement my natural, warm photography style.

I carefully select the images for your final gallery for you. This allows me to choose the photographs that best tell the story of your family and ensure you receive a beautiful, cohesive collection.

At this stage, my packages include digital images only, delivered via your private online gallery.

Yes. A 10% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 3 days prior to your session.

Simply complete the enquiry form on my website and tell me a little about your family, the package you're interested in and your preferred days.

Once I receive your enquiry, I'll get back to you with availability and the next steps for booking your session.

I completely understand that sometimes children get sick or unexpected emergencies arise — life happens!

Last-minute cancellations can be very difficult to fill and can unfortunately create a financial strain for a small photography business. If you do need to reschedule, I kindly ask that you let me know as soon as possible so I can do my best to accommodate you and offer your original session time to someone else.
